Qatar National Bank Announces Current Deposit Rates

Doha: Deposit rates at opening, as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB), reflect a range of interest rates for various currencies across different term periods.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 3.68525% for a one-month term and rise to 4.01627% for a 12-month term. The Japanese Yen (JPY) sees a rate beginning at 0.78000% for one month and increasing to 1.35000% for a 12-month deposit. The Swiss Franc (CHF) rates range from -0.18000% for one month to 0.20000% for a 12-month term, while the British Pound (GBP) starts at 3.61000% for one month, climbing up to 4.47000% for a full year.

For the Qatari Riyal (QAR), the one-month deposit rate is at 4.00000%, whereas the 12-month rate is slightly lower at 3.75000%. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) begins at 4.50000% for a one-month deposit, with a gradual increase to 4.60000% over 12 months. The UAE Dirham (AED) shows a progression from 2.05000% for one month to 3.15000% for a year-long term. Meanwhile, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) offers a rate of 4.60000% at one month and slightly increases to 4.80000% for 12 months.

These rates, issued by Qatar National Bank, provide insight into the current financial climate and interest rate trends within the region, offering consumers various options for their deposit investments.
