Doha:Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for various currencies are specified for different time durations. For the US Dollar, the rates are 3.89851% for 1 month, 3.96574% for 2 months, 4.03297% for 3 months, 4.20141% for 6 months, and 4.48475% for 12 months.

In terms of other currencies, the Japanese Yen has rates of 1.01000% for 1 month, 1.10000% for 2 months, 1.16000% for 3 months, 1.36000% for 6 months, and 1.70000% for 12 months. The Swiss Franc shows rates starting at -0.09000% for 1 month, increasing to 0.30000% for 12 months. For the British Pound, the rates range from 3.66000% for 1 month to 4.72000% for 12 months.

For local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal has a 1-month rate of 4.30000%, decreasing slightly to 4.17500% for 12 months. The Saudi Riyal begins at 4.45000% for 1 month, rising to 4.85000% for 12 months. The UAE Dirham starts at 2.05000% for 1 month, reaching 3.15000% for 12 months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar rates begin at 4.85000% for 1 month and increase to 5.10000% for 12 months.
