Qatar National Bank Announces New Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at the opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) reveal updates across a range of currencies, reflecting the bank’s current financial strategy and market conditions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the bank has set various interest rates for deposits in USD, JPY, CHF, and GBP. For USD, the rates are 4.34074% for 1 month, 4.27785% for 2 months, 4.21496% for 3 months, 4.06544% for 6 months, and 3.84703% for 12 months. The JPY deposit rates are stable at 0.40000% for 1 and 2 months, increasing slightly to 0.45000% for 3 and 6 months, and further up to 0.55000% for 12 months. CHF deposits show negative rates, with -0.11000% for 1 month, -0.09000% for 2 months, -0.16000% for 3 months, -0.05000% for 6 months, and -0.13000% for 12 months. For GBP, the rates start at 3.93000% for 1 month, move to 4.03000% for both 2 and 3 months, 4.11000% for 6 months, and reach 4.18000% for 12 months.

The report further details the deposit rates for QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. The QAR deposit rates begin at 4.82500% for 1 month, decreasing to 4.77500% for 2 months, 4.70000% for 3 months, 4.50000% for 6 months, and 4.42500% for 12 months. SAR rates start at 4.90000% for 1 month, increasing to 5.00000% for 2 months, and further up to 5.10000% for 3 and 6 months, before slightly decreasing to 5.05000% for 12 months. For AED, the rates are 2.05000% for 1 month, 2.15000% for 2 months, 2.40000% for 3 months, 2.85000% for 6 months, and 3.15000% for 12 months. BHD deposit rates maintain a steady 5.00000% from 1 month to 6 months, before decreasing to 4.50000% for 12 months.
