Qatar National Bank Releases Latest Deposit Rates Across Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) reveal diverse interest rate structures across various currencies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the one-month deposit rates for major currencies are as follows: USD at 4.31579%, JPY at 0.35000%, CHF at -0.09000%, and GBP at 4.17000%. These rates provide an insight into the varying economic conditions and monetary policies affecting each currency.

For two-month deposits, USD rates slightly increase to 4.31681%, while JPY sees a decrease to 0.26000%. CHF experiences a rise to -0.04000%, and GBP climbs to 4.26000%.

The three-month deposit rates indicate a marginal increase for USD at 4.31782% and JPY at 0.40000%. CHF, however, witnesses a drop to -0.13000%, while GBP adjusts to 4.21000%.

Six-month deposits show USD rates at 4.24791%, maintaining stability in JPY at 0.40000%, a slight improvement for CHF at -0.05000%, and consistent GBP rates at 4.26000%.

For twelve-month deposits, the USD rate decreases to 4.03683%, JPY rises to 0.55000%, CHF remains at -0.13000%, and GBP reaches 4.36000%.

In the local and regional currencies, the QAR one-month rate is set at 4.85000%, SAR at 4.90000%, AED at 2.05000%, and BHD at 5.00000%. These rates reflect the economic dynamics within the Gulf region.

Two-month deposit rates for QAR are at 4.75000%, SAR at 5.00000%, AED at 2.15000%, and BHD at 5.15000%.

The three-month period shows QAR at 4.65000%, SAR at 5.10000%, AED at 2.40000%, and BHD maintaining stability at 5.00000%.

For six-month deposits, QAR is at 4.60000%, SAR at 4.95000%, AED at 2.85000%, and BHD at 5.00000%.

Finally, twelve-month deposits have QAR rates at 4.50000%, SAR at 4.80000%, AED at 3.15000%, and BHD at 4.50000%.
