Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced the latest deposit rates for various currencies, effective from Monday. These rates provide insights into the returns on deposits for different durations ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar are 4.31984% for one month, 4.28941% for two months, 4.25898% for three months, 4.12552% for six months, and 3.86343% for twelve months. For the Japanese Yen, the rates are significantly lower, with one month at 0.35000%, two months at 0.09000%, three months at 0.18000%, six months at 0.25000%, and twelve months at 0.55000%.

The Swiss Franc deposit rates are also on the lower side, with one month at 0.09000%, two and three months both at 0.09000% and 0.14000% respectively, six months at 0.15000%, and twelve months at 0.38000%. For the British Pound, the rates start at 4.37000% for one month, slightly increasing to 4.40000% for two months, 4.28000% for three months, 4.30000% for six months, and reaching 4.43000% for twelve months.

QNB’s deposit rates for the Qatari Riyal are 4.85000% for one month, decreasing through longer durations to 4.45000% for twelve months. The Saudi Riyal sees rates of 4.90000% for one month and 5.00000% for twelve months, while the UAE Dirham rates start at 2.05000% for one month and climb to 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar offers rates of 5.37000% for one month, peaking at 5.43000% for two months, and closing at 5.12000% for twelve months.
