Doha: The State of Qatar took part in the 65th Coordination Meeting of the Council of Labour Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states on Saturday. This meeting was held as a part of ongoing consultation and coordination efforts on topics pertinent to Arab and international meetings related to the labor sector.

According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar was represented by HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri. The meeting's agenda included discussions on the upcoming 52nd session of the Arab Labor Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt, from September 13 to 20.

The ministers also explored various avenues for cooperation and deliberated on ways to strengthen these collaborations in the forthcoming phase.
