Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a modest increase on Sunday, closing with a gain of 5.73 points or 0.06%, reaching a level of 9,688.3 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 104,813,951 shares exchanged, resulting in a turnover of QR 223,447,209.052 across 14,805 transactions spanning all sectors. In the session, 17 companies saw their share prices advance, while 32 companies experienced declines, and 5 companies' shares remained unchanged.

The market capitalization saw an increase, rising to QR 583,351,549,550.752, up from QR 581,636,454,991.814 recorded in the previous session.
