Jutrosin: The Qatar paramotor team is gearing up to participate in the 12th Polish Open Paramotor Slalom Championships, set to take place from August 18-22, 2026, in Jutrosin, Poland. This prestigious event will feature 31 pilots from countries including Qatar, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, and the United States.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar will be represented by Naif Yousuf Al Baloshi in the foot-launched class, Hayan Al Hebabi and Ibrahem Ahmed Hussain in the trike class, and Saeed Hamad Al Marri in the foot-launched Serial class. The championships are recognized as leading international competitions in paramotor slalom, and the Qatar team is aiming to achieve exceptional results, continuing their successful streak in international and regional competitions.

The Qatar Air Sports Committee of the Joint Special Forces manages the paramotor team, which has completed its preparations through a training camp in Poland before arriving in Jutrosin for the championships. The team consists of 14 pilots who specialize in executing static and dynamic aerial formations using paramotor engines and paraglider wings, forming a key part of the Qatar parachuting team.

The Qatar team currently leads the world ranking in the foot-launched class and secured remarkable results at the World Championship in October 2025, where they finished first in the individual trike competition, first in the Racing Team competition, and second overall. Previously, in 2022, they topped the world rankings in both the trike and foot-launched classes, as per the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) rankings.

Team captain Saeed Abdullah Al Marri stated that their participation aims to secure top positions and contribute to Qatar's record in air sports. Al Marri emphasized the team's determination to win gold and elevate the Qatari flag on the podium, attributing their ambitions to the support they receive and the players' resolve to maintain their achievements.

Al Marri also highlighted the team's impressive results in previous competitions, acknowledging the challenges posed by current tournaments. He expressed confidence in the team's ability to continue excelling and achieve results that will bring honor to Qatar.
