Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session higher by 37.54 points, or 0.37 percent, reaching 10,055.6 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 143,917,160 shares were traded during the session, amounting to a total value of QAR 395,065,889.253. These trades were conducted through 22,657 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 30 companies advanced, while 18 companies saw declines. Meanwhile, the shares of six companies remained unchanged.

At the close of trading, the market capitalization was recorded at QAR 604,319,555,667.292, an increase from QAR 601,954,015,444.430 in the previous session.
