Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Sunday, losing 30.38 points, or 0.31 percent, to finish at 9,733.76 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 154,217,048 shares exchanged, resulting in a turnover of QAR 291,321,696.378 across 12,367 transactions spanning all sectors. Despite the overall decline, the shares of 17 companies advanced, while 31 companies experienced declines, and four companies' shares remained unchanged.
Market capitalization saw a slight decrease, standing at QAR 585,627,462,615.304, compared to QAR 586,796,805,380.350 in the previous session. This shift reflects the mixed trading activity observed in the market on the day.
