Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index increased by 0.17% at the start of Sunday's trading, up by 16.41 points to reach 9,840 points compared to the previous session's close, supported by four sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed positive performances in Industrials (+1.32%), Insurance (+0.84%), Telecoms (+0.08%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.08%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Banks and Financial Services (-0.17%), Real Estate (-0.22%), and Transportation (-0.39%).

By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 57.374 million, with 24.364 million shares traded in 3,182 transactions, according to QSE data.
