Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange: The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw an increase of 34.53 points, or 0.35%, reaching 10,038.20 points at the start of Monday's trading. This rise was supported by gains across six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sectors contributing to the positive movement included Insurance, which rose by 0.70%, Banks and Financial Services with a 0.58% increase, Real Estate up by 0.46%, Industrials gaining 0.32%, Consumer Goods and Services increasing by 0.13%, and Telecoms with a marginal rise of 0.03%. However, the Transport sector experienced a slight decline of 0.07%.
As of approximately 10:00 am, QSE reported a total of 3,897 transactions with a trading value of QR 45.031 million, involving 23.816 million shares.
