QSE Index Opens Lower

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a decline at the start of trading on Thursday, falling by 10.53 points, or 0.10%, to settle at 10,827 points. This marked a decrease from the previous session’s close.

According to Qatar News Agency, the decline was led by several sectors, including Banks and Financial Services with a decrease of 0.01%, Industrials down by 0.02%, Real Estate falling 0.02%, Insurance dropping by 0.09%, Telecoms decreasing by 0.13%, Transportation slipping by 0.14%, and Consumer Goods and Services declining by 0.22%.

By 10:00 am, the trading turnover reached QR 25.054 million, with a total of 14.468 million shares exchanged across 1,453 transactions.
