Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Tuesday, recording a gain of 45.98 points, or 0.47 percent, to reach 9,852.83 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 125,485,437 shares traded, with a turnover amounting to QAR 374,959,215.119 across 22,572 transactions involving all sectors. The shares of 32 companies saw an increase in value, while 18 companies experienced a decline. Meanwhile, the shares of three companies remained unchanged.

Market capitalization increased to QAR 592,179,716,071.012, compared to QAR 589,335,222,374.568 in the previous session.
