Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 10.17 points, or 0.10% to reach the level of 9,974 points at the beginning of trading on Monday, compared to yesterday's closing, backed by six sectors. Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance in the Industrials by 0.37%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.35%; Real Estate by 0.20%; Insurance by 0.11%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.05% and Telecoms by 0.01%. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the Transportation by 0.08%. At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2647 transactions worth QR 69.452 million, distributed to 28.085 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
