Diyala Governorate recorded / 10 / cases of suffocation by chlorine gas in the second case during the past twenty-four hours. A medical source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the emergency wards at Baqubah Teaching Hospital received / 10 / cases of suffocation of workers and employees as a result of a chlorine gas leak from one of the cylinders stored in the Bani Saad water complex, southwest of Baqubah. He added that the civil defense teams rushed to evacuate the area of any old cylinders and control the situation.
