Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and his Sudanese counterpart, Mohieddin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim, today signed a document establishing the Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council. This significant development marks a step forward in the collaboration between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the council is designed to enhance cooperation and coordination between Saudi Arabia and Sudan. It aims to provide a structured platform for advancing bilateral relations, focusing on initiatives, projects, and objectives that align with the aspirations of both countries' leaderships and peoples.
In conjunction with the council's establishment, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Sudan convened a meeting of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee. This meeting, held in Riyadh, focused on reviewing and developing bilateral relations across various sectors. Additionally, the ministers discussed recent regional developments and shared their perspectives on these issues.
