Baghdad Operations Command forces seized an unlicensed "drug warehouse" hidden inside a plastic pipe factory and arrested its owner south of the capital. The Command stated in a statement that: "In continuation of the operations carried out by our security forces and through the duties of searching and inspecting companies and factories and closing unlicensed ones, a force from the 17th Infantry Division, in cooperation with detachments from (the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime, Al-Mustafa Police Station), with the support of an intelligence effort, was able to seize an unlicensed drug warehouse hidden inside a plastic pipe factory in the "Awerij" area south of the capital, containing large quantities of medicines, practicing the profession without a license and formal approvals." She added: "The materials were confiscated and the warehouse owner was handed over to the competent authorities to take legal action against him." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
