Damascus: Seven civilians, including women and children, were killed and 20 were injured following an Israeli air offensive that targeted a residential building in the Sayyida Zeinab area of the Damascus suburb.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency quoted a military source as stating that Israel launched a hostile air raid from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building in the Sayyida Zeinab area of the Damascus suburb. The attack resulted in the deaths of seven people and wounded dozens more, in addition to causing material damage to private property.

For years, the Israeli occupation army has been launching air assaults on Syrian territory, but their frequency has dramatically surged since the onset of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2024.
