Ramallah:Six Palestinians sustained injuries following attacks by Israeli settlers on olive harvesters near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams attended to four individuals injured in an assault by settlers on civilians harvesting olives in the village of Burqa.
Additionally, the Society noted that two people, including a woman, were treated after being beaten during a settler attack on olive harvesters in the village of Abu Falah, east of Ramallah, which occurred under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources indicated that Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas at civilians during a settler attack in Abu Falah, aiming to drive them off their land. Such attacks against Palestinian farmers have intensified with the start of the olive harvest season, involving physical assaults, gunfire, restricted access to farmland, theft of crops, and destruction of olive trees.
