Doha: Submissions for the Katara Prize for Manuscripts and Archaeological Sites have been extended to Sept. 30 instead of June 30, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) announced. The move would allow numerous applicants to finalize their researches. Incepted on March 11, 2024, the new prize includes two categories: research on an original, unpublished manuscript; and the best research study on archeological sites or monuments in the Arab region. The Kingdom of Morocco was chosen as the country of honor for the first edition of the award. Source: Qatar News Agency
