The Arab bloc in the Kirkuk Provincial Council confirmed its adherence to its entitlement to the position of Kirkuk Governor, as it is the largest in the council members and has six seats. In a statement, the bloc thanked Prime Minister, Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani, who stressed during his meeting with them that no government will be formed in Kirkuk except with the agreement of all its components.
