The security forces in Maysan arrested a suspect in his possession of narcotic substances in Qalaat Saleh district, south of the governorate.

Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: "A force from the 3rd Regiment, 97th Infantry Brigade affiliated to the Maysan Operations Command, managed to arrest a suspect who was found in his possession half a kilogram of narcotic crystal," noting to hand him over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.”
