Baghdad, The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed today, Tuesday, that it will continue to work to calm tensions in the region and stop the ceasefire in Gaza, while it decided to send a new submarine to protect Israel. US officials said in statements that "the US Defense continues to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and works to calm tensions in the region, indicating that it "also continues to focus on securing a ceasefire in Gaza as part of the hostage deal." They added that "it will send the submarine (USS Georgia) to the central region to assist Israel," noting that Minister Austin discussed with Galant Iranian threats and efforts to limit the expansion of the conflict."
