The State of Qatar participated today in Sarajevo in commemorating the genocide that took place in Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia, in 1995, in the presence of HE Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic. The State of Qatar was represented in commemorating the Srebrenica genocide by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater. It is worth noting that the State of Qatar voted in the United Nations General Assembly in favor of the resolution to designate Jul. 11 of each year as an international day of reflection and commemoration of the 1995 genocide in Srebrenica. The commemoration was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina Meshal bin Ali Al Attiyah. Source: Qatar News Agency
