Baghdad, The MP, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhoud said that the attempt to thwart the session to elect the Speaker of Parliament is intended to put the country into a political vacuum in order to thwart the government's project and its service and development program. Al-Sayhoud explained in a press statement today that: 'There is no justification for holding early elections in Iraq, given that the government is continuing at an increasing pace to improve the standard of living and improve services in a way that suits the aspirations of the Iraqi people.' He added: 'The great achievements achieved by the government may not please some who do not want to see Iraq as a stable and healthy country.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
