Madinah:Cairo The Arab League has strongly condemned an attempted missile attack by the Houthi movement targeting the Madinah region of Saudi Arabia, labeling it a serious escalation and a breach of the Kingdom's sovereignty and security.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Cairo-based organization emphasized that the attack on Madinah also disrespected the sentiments of Muslims around the world.

The Arab League's statement highlighted concerns that repeated attacks could jeopardize not only Saudi Arabia's security but also regional stability, posing a risk to efforts aimed at containing tensions.

The organization reiterated its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing support for the measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty, territory, and citizens from security threats.
