Security forces arrested 14 accused from both sides of a tribal quarrel that broke out in Al-Salam district, southeast of Maysan Governorate, and seized unlicensed weapons. Maysan Police Command said in a statement: "A tribal quarrel broke out among members of one clan due to a previous dispute and revenge and developed into the use of weapons." It added: "A joint security force went to the scene of the incident and imposed a security cordon, and conducted a series of raids and searches of the homes of those who caused the incident," noting the arrest of (14) accused from both sides of the quarrel and the confiscation of unlicensed weapons, and taking the necessary legal measures against the accused.
