Hilla, The local government in Babylon announced an investment partnership with Iran during discussions held by the Governor of Babylon, Adnan Al-Faihan, with the Iranian Consul General, Abdul Rahman Sadati. Faihan said, "The discussions resulted in the signing of an investment partnership in the fields of tourism and agriculture, especially since Babylon possesses many components, including the tourist and commercial location, the fertility of the lands, and the abundance of water." He added, 'It was also agreed to cooperate in developing a number of religious shrines in the governorate and to facilitate the arrival of visitors from Iran to Iraq.'
