Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting at the Amiri Diwan, where significant strides in education and regulatory frameworks were discussed.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Cabinet was initially briefed on the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's preparations for the 2026-2027 school year. The Cabinet commended the ongoing achievements in expanding the educational infrastructure according to international standards and enhancing the educational workforce and curricula. These efforts aim to align with the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3) and Qatar National Vision 2030, fostering a conducive educational environment for national development.

The Cabinet also approved a draft bill regulating the tokenization of real estate and the trading of real estate tokens. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with several national bodies, aims to create a robust legal framework for real estate tokenization, promoting investment while ensuring security and transparency in transactions. This framework is designed to stimulate innovation while managing associated risks, in line with the NDS3 2024-2030.

Furthermore, the Cabinet agreed to update the Official Gazette system, with amendments focusing on electronic publication. This update, coordinated with the Supreme Judicial Council, aims to enhance legal transparency and accessibility through a digital platform, supporting the Ministry of Justice's Strategy 2025-2030.

The Cabinet also endorsed a proposal from the National Archives of Qatar to improve the management and preservation of official documents. This initiative is intended to integrate best international practices for records management and establish a specialized unit for technical support within government entities.

Additionally, the Cabinet approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding on financial cooperation with Kuwait and an amendment to an MOU targeting money laundering and terrorist financing among Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

The session concluded with the Cabinet reviewing reports on various international participations, including financial ministerial meetings and health assemblies, and making pertinent decisions based on these reviews.
