Jerusalem: Dozens of colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing local sources, reported that 218 colonists entered Al-Aqsa Mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate in groups. These groups conducted provocative tours of the courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals near its gates.

Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subjected to increasing incursions by colonists, constituting a dangerous escalation and a violation of the sanctity of the mosque. This incident marks a continuation of tensions surrounding the holy site, raising concerns over further escalations in the area.
