Director of the Human Rights Department, Haider Abdul-Ilah Aref, discussed with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross to discuss prospects for cooperation regarding joint programs, including the file of missing persons and the file of correctional prisons affiliated with the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, the delegation praised the role of the Ministry of Justice in following up on the implementation of Iraq's international obligations related to the human rights file and the visit made by Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani to the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross and holding a meeting with the Chairman and members of the Committee regarding the file of accompanying children in Iraq.
