Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud engaged in discussions on regional developments during the Crown Prince's visit to Cairo.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Presidency revealed that both leaders highlighted the significance of enhancing coordination and dialogue between their nations amidst the prevailing regional conditions. They underscored the necessity of safeguarding the freedom and security of navigation in strategic waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab.
Additionally, the discussions reaffirmed Egypt and Saudi Arabia's steadfast positions on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing the need for a fair and comprehensive resolution that aligns with the two-state solution and decisions of international legitimacy. The leaders also reiterated their ongoing support for the security and stability of Sudan.
