The Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of 14 drug dealers in the governorates of Baghdad, Babylon, Diyala, and Nineveh. The directorate stated in a statement, "our field detachments were able to overthrow (14) wanted by the judiciary on charges of trafficking, promoting, and transporting narcotic substances, including two women, in the governorates of (Baghdad, Babylon, Diyala, and Nineveh)." It added, "various narcotic substances and tools used in drug abuse were found in their possession." It stated, 'The wanted persons have arrest warrants issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Drugs,' noting that 'legal measures will be taken against them and referred to the relevant authorities.
