Kurdistan Regional Government PM Discusses Iraq’s Security Developments with New CENTCOM Commander

Erbil: Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq Masrour Barzani met Tuesday with the newly appointed Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) Admiral Brad Cooper. The meeting focused on the latest security developments in Iraq, the ongoing threats posed by ISIS, and a review of recent developments in the Syrian arena.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between Prime Minister Barzani and Admiral Cooper were centered around strategic collaborations and measures to address the security challenges in the region. The dialogue emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the Kurdistan Regional Government and CENTCOM in combating terrorism and enhancing stability in Iraq and neighboring regions.
