Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index experiencing a rise of 3.27 points, reaching 8,928.01 points, marking an increase of 0.04 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a substantial 378.8 million shares exchanged, valued at KWD 106 million, approximately USD 326.19 million, through 28,122 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a gain of 24.63 points, reaching 9,281.64 points, which is an increase of 0.27 percent. This was achieved by the trading of 210.6 million shares through 16,441 transactions, valued at KWD 43.5 million, or roughly USD 156.6 million.

Conversely, the Premier Market Index saw a slight decline, losing 1.09 points to close at 9,316.12 points, a decrease of 0.01 percent. This was the result of 168.2 million shares being traded via 11,681 transactions, with a value of KWD 62.5 million, or approximately USD 191.2 million. Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index declined by 17.47 points to settle at 11,047.64 points, down by 0.16 percent. This index witnessed a stock volume of 153.4 million shares traded in 10,974 deals, valued at KWD 29.7 million, which is roughly USD 90.8 million.
