Doha: Lusail Sports Club has officially announced the signing of Macedonian forward Georg Stojanovski from Bulgarian side Spartak Varna. The move forms part of the club's effort to reinforce its squad ahead of the upcoming season. The club has not disclosed the length of the contract or any financial details. According to Qatar News Agency, in addition to Stojanovski, Lusail SC has brought in several players as part of its preparations, including Naif Al Hadrami, Mohammed Ayash, Mohammed Khaled, Ali Nemati, and Argentinian defender Franco Russo. The club earned promotion to the Qatar Stars League for the first time in its history. Following an impressive second-division season, Lusail secured the right to compete in the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2026-2027 season.
