Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad chaired a preparatory meeting for the national team preparing Qatar’s report to the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Geneva. Representatives from the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Supreme Judicial Council, and the Ministry of Social Development and Family participated in the meeting.

According to Qatar News Agency, these preparations reflect Qatar’s commitment to promoting and protecting children’s rights and its continued effective cooperation with relevant international mechanisms.
