New Israeli Airstrike Kills 10 Palestinians, Injures Others

Gaza city: Ten Palestinians, including nine Palestinian police officers and personnel, were killed and others were injured in airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft on Wednesday on the northern and central Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported that nine Palestinians were killed and about 15 others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the municipal police headquarters in the center of Gaza City. Ambulance and civil defense teams transported the bodies of the victims and the injured to hospitals for treatment.

Local sources indicated that among the nine victims were the new governor of the Gaza City police, the director of the women's police, and a number of police officers. The General Directorate of Police stated that the occupation aircraft targeted the headquarters of the municipal police in the Gaza Governorate, leading to deaths and injuries.

The Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza called on mediators and the international community to take urgent action to stop what they described as a dangerous Israeli escalation and the massacres committed against the police force. They refuted claims made by the occupation to justify its actions, stating that they are untrue and accusing the occupation of attempting to eliminate the police force to spread chaos within Palestinian society.

In a related incident, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured due to an Israeli airstrike targeting a motorcycle near Camp 2, south of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Additionally, a Palestinian was wounded by Israeli army gunfire in Beit Lahia in the north.

Medical sources reported that the three Israeli airstrikes targeting a cafe and a police station in Gaza City, and a motorcycle in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulted in at least 17 martyrs and dozens of injuries.
