The National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Control confirmed that the iron sites (scrap) belonging to the General Company for Glass and Refractories / one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in Fallujah are free of any radioactive contamination, after field inspections were conducted by the technical teams affiliated with the Authority. The Authority's media quoted the official of its branch in Anbar, Zaid Ahmed Zayed, today, Thursday, as saying that "the technical teams conducted radiation surveys of the General Company for Glass and Refractories using radioactive inspection devices carried on the company's scrap," noting that "the reports of the survey and site inspection devices proved that the iron waste is free of radioactive contamination."
