Baghdad, Thai and Singapore Airlines officials said that a passenger was killed and 30 others were injured when a Singapore Airlines plane coming from London experienced severe weather turbulence on Tuesday, forcing it to make an emergency landing in Bangkok. The airline said in a statement that the plane, a Boeing 777-300ER, was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members and was heading to Singapore when it made an emergency landing.
