Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Safadi, held a telephone conversation. The talks focused on cooperation between the two nations and explored avenues for deepening and supporting bilateral relations. They also addressed recent regional developments, emphasizing ongoing diplomatic efforts and coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring a resolution that guarantees freedom of maritime traffic. This initiative is seen as a crucial step towards a comprehensive accord that seeks to achieve enduring peace in the region.
