Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani inaugurated the MWC25 Doha conference this morning. The conference is being organized by the GSMA Association in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, marking the first time it is held in the Middle East and North Africa region, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

According to Qatar News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by several of Their Excellencies the Sheikhs and Ministers, along with GSMA officials and leaders in communications and information technology from the region and around the world.

Following the inauguration, His Excellency toured the accompanying exhibition, which featured leading global, regional, and local companies. The exhibition showcased the latest innovations in communication, 5G and beyond networks, artificial intelligence, advanced computing, smart cities, data solutions, and financial technologies.

His Excellency also visited the Qatari pavilion, which includes 17 government entities showcasing 32 innovative digital projects. These projects cover multiple fields of future technologies.
