Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed Thursday, witnessing a decline of 34.76 points, or 0.35 percent, to settle at 10,020.84 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 238,081,594 shares exchanged, amounting to a value of QAR 740,865,670.710, conducted through 23,564 transactions spanning all sectors. Out of the companies traded, shares of 24 companies experienced an increase, 26 saw a decline, and two remained unchanged.

The market capitalization at the end of the day was recorded at QAR 601,340,435,012.114, down from QAR 604,319,555,667.292 observed in the previous session, indicating a decrease in overall market value.
