Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 21.83 points, or 0.22%, at the start of Sunday's trading, reaching 9,751 points, under pressure from five sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed gains in Telecoms (0.62%) and Consumer Goods and Services (0.24%). Meanwhile, performance declined in the sectors of Banks and Financial Services (0.13%), both Insurance and Real Estate (0.25%), Industrials (0.35%), and Transportation (0.96%).

By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 41.564 million, with 20.582 million shares traded in 2,828 transactions, as reported by QSE data.
