Tulkarm - Ma'an - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing began removing the effects of the destruction left by the occupation forces' invasion of Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm Governorate, over the past days. The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Ahed Bseiso said that, under the directives of the President and the Prime Minister, crews, in cooperation with partner institutions, began opening roads, removing rubble, and assessing the initial damage to the infrastructure and streets in the camp. Bseiso pointed out that the negative effects of the occupation's aggression on the camp are very large, indicating that the damage is severe and cumulative in the sectors of roads, infrastructure, buildings and shops, in addition to the severe damage to the electricity network. The Minister of Works instructed the relevant authorities in the Ministry to harness all capabilities, including crews and mechanisms, to support the Ministry's crews in the governorate in the process of removing traces of destruction and repairing what was destroyed by the occupation. In conjunction with the process of removing the rubble, the government committee in charge of the local government conducts a comprehensive inventory of the damages and submits reports on the complete demolition for the purpose of sheltering the owners of uninhabitable homes.
