Geneva: The State of Qatar participated in the meetings of the 62nd session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland. These meetings were held in conjunction with the World Health Assembly meetings.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Minister of Public Health Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud. The discussions during the council meetings covered several critical topics, including the health conditions in the Palestinian territories, comprising East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Other focal points included the Arab Health Committee for Emergency Preparedness and Response and the Arab Guiding Strategy for Promoting the Use of a Health Economics Approach to Address Key Health Priorities from 2025 to 2030.
