Cairo: The State of Qatar took part in the 166th regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, convened today at the League's headquarters in Cairo. This significant gathering brought together representatives from various Arab nations to deliberate on pressing regional issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi. The session focused on critical developments in the region, including the Iranian escalation and recent attacks targeting several Arab countries. Discussions also encompassed the ongoing Israeli aggression and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the situations in Lebanon and Syria.

The agenda further addressed matters related to Arab national security, underscoring the collective concerns of the member states. These discussions are crucial in formulating unified strategies to address and mitigate the challenges facing the Arab world today.
