Doha: Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Afghanistan, Abdul Hanan Omari, urged Qatari business community to invest and explore investment opportunities in his country. In a meeting with First Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber, Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, in Doha, Omari discussed areas of cooperation between the two sides, especially in agriculture, food processing and infrastructure. Al Kuwari hailed the current bilateral cooperation relations, highlighting that the Afghan community in Qatar work across multiple fields and contribute to the country's renaissance. He added that Qatari businessmen are keen to learn about the investment opportunities in Afghanistan, especially in agriculture, mining and food security and that Qatari and Afghan chambers are keen to streamline cooperation between the private sectors in both countries. In turn, Omari said highlighted Afghanistan's investment opportunities in agriculture and food processing, especially fruits, saffron, pine nuts, raisins and other agricultural products.
