The only option that was available previously was to stop charging at 80% of the battery capacity; However, iOS 18 now provides additional options to stop charging at higher levels of 85%, 90%, and 95%. This feature works to protect the iPhone battery from overcharging, which leads to extending battery life. The system also offers another new feature that can alert users if they are using a slow charger to charge their phones.
